I love this tool for regrooving my irons. You do have to be very careful if your grooves aren't very deep. Use oil to aid the cutting tool, but start out with light pressure at first until you get a good groove to follow, then use more pressure. If you get in too big of a hurry, you might slip and put a scratch in the wrong place on the iron face, like I did. It's a learning process. After the scratch, I decided to take my time and do one iron a day, for best results. Just don't get in a hurry.
