I have had this garden stake weather vane for over 2 years. I purchased it directly through the manufacturer - not from Amazon. The company is located in North Dakota, and their products are made in the U.S.A. It looks as good as the day it arrived. Some days it feels as if I live in a wind tunnel (I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area), and this weather vane doesn't show any signs of wearing out. I purchased one for my sister who lives in Las Vegas. Her weather vane is subjected to wind and intense heat. Hers, too, looks like new.
