For sale is ONE kinetic copper wind sculpture with a theme of spinning ficus leaves. The shape of ficus leaf enables the spinner to capture more wind. The entire wind sculpture including the pole and its fixture is made of pure copper with brass hardware. The only metal is the stainless steel ball bearings that are completely covered by brass hardware. Two ball bearings make the dual spinners move independently (most of the time opposite from each other). A third bearing makes the kinetic sculpture swivels 360 degrees in the wind. The pole is made of heavy gauge copper and secured into the ground by an all copper 4-point anchoring system. With its heavy duty construction and swiveling head, this kinetic sculpture can withstand strong winds up to 70 mph. The copper leaves and arms are not coated and will age naturally. If you want to preserve its original copper shine, you may spray a layer of clear coat on it. We have had great success with clear coats made by Rust-Oleum and Permalac (Peacock Labs). The craftsmanship on this wind sculpture is impeccable. The wheels are finely balanced and maintenance free. The sculpture is entirely weather proof and made to last for decades.

I have admired these kinetic wind sculptures for years when traveling in the southwest but have always been put off by the high prices for something that looked fairly simple to make. I have seen many cheap versions but didn't think they would hold up to high winds rain and snow. This one is very well made for a reasonable amount of money. It is made very heavy duty but well balanced and spins freely in all directions.I have evaluated the quality of construction and have concluded that this is every bit as good as some I have seen that sell for $1000 +. As usual, Amazon sells it for a lot less! I only hope that this company and Amazon will offer other designs of these kinetic sculptures and maintain the quality standards and sell them at similar prices. I would like to build a collection of them in my large yard. If you have admired those other over priced works of art you will LOVE this one.

This is a followup to the review listed above. I've had it over a month now. I find this wind sculpture to be superior to any of the others I have seen, even those costing thousands of dollars!! The only problem I have with it is that I can't take my eyes off of it! The combination of spinning around the vertical axis as well as the horizontal axis produces all sorts of unusual movement. Sometimes the spinners are turning in opposite directions, sometimes the same, sometimes one fast and one slow, sometimes both fast. IT IS JUST TOTALLY MESMERIZING!!! Everyone who sees it is totally fascinated. I cannot imagine anyone buying this and not being 100% thrilled with quality and performance.
