I looked at a lot of weathervanes priced in the hundreds of dollars. Was losing heart when I found this product, recycled, made in USA and just what I was looking for to replace the trite horse and buggy on our 70's era cupola. It took a while to get here, but was just as advertised when it arrived. I did not get the painted version depicted in the product description, so can't comment on that. It turns freely in the wind, looks great, and reminds us of our dog who is gone, so what more can you ask from a weathervane?
