When I saw this Blue Heron I had to have it! I see the real ones migrating over my house sometimes. They are magnificent birds. This spinner is so well made. It's made of a strong nylon material similar to what backpacks are made of. The stitching is emaculite and the details are amazing. Here's a tip when assembling the wings: insert the short rods first then the long ones. I am putting my bird on my deck to enjoy year-round. My only complaint is that I wish some of the money I spent on this spinner could have been donated to a wildlife fund for bird refuges. Hopefully someone from the company who made these wonderful spinners would read this and give it a thought!
