I have an old 6.5' wind generator that I have had outside for about 9 years, and is really faded bad. They last for years, but the sun finally fades even this good fabric. I have also had the next size bigger wind generator. The fabric wings on the larger ones are too heavy and they do not work as good as these 'smaller' 6.5 footers.
