I purchased this for a friend who had chihuahuas and was worried that a large hawk or other bird might swoop down and pluck one of the little guys off the ground! The movement of the wings I thought could deter a hawk, or at least offer some peace of mind. It was easy to assemble and quite sturdy. The design is very pleasing and it moves with the slightest wind. Would definitely recommend as a garden spinner, and a chihuahua protector!
